Welcome to CVP Real Estate, a part of the Cape Verde Portal group of companies.

Established in 2004, CVP Real Estate has grown to be a leading local real estate agent for the Cape Verde Islands. We have achieved this success by applying the basic principles of focus and a high quality service offering backed up by expertise in the market in which we operate.

We have chosen to focus only on the Cape Verde Islands therefore offering the widest range of quality properties on the islands and the best local knowledge, attributes that our customers value highly.

CVP Real Estate takes a long-term view of the Cape Verde real estate market and works hard to invest in long term relationships. Like our parent company Cape Verde Portal we are synonymous with quality and expertise always ensuring that we have the answers our clients need.

Furthermore we combine innovation and entrepreneurial spirit to maximise the returns on our clients’ investments. The recent creation of Verde Invest as a separate entity is in response to the need for an experienced company to provide direct access to land and development opportunities on the islands.

WHO ARE WE?

Steven Oldfield – Managing Director

With almost twenty years banking experience spent in different countries around the world and a series of successful personal investments in overseas property including Cape Verde, Steve started Cape Verde Portal in 2004 aimed at providing a single gateway to investment on the islands.

Justin Jeffs – CFO and Managing Director Verde Invest

After spending the previous ten years in a global investment bank in a number of senior positions Justin joined Cape Verde Portal in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and brings board level advisory experience relevant to the larger land and development deals.

Carlos was born and raised in Santiago, Cape Verde but studied business at universities in Portugal, Hawaii and America. Since 1990 he has worked in the Cape Verde government in senior positions including Advisor to the Secretary of State, Cabinet Director for the Minister for Tourism and Adviser to the Minister of Finance. In the last three years he has held senior positions in the largest Cape Verdean development and land acquisition companies. Carlos speaks English, Portuguese, Creole, French, Italian and Spanish.

Eva Caldeira Marques - Legal Adviser

Eva studied law in Portugal and Boston, USA and is qualified as a member of the Cape Verdean Bar Association and American Bar Association. She spent a number of years working in the Cape Verdean government prior to starting her own practise specialising in real estate transactions. Eva speaks English, Portuguese, Creole, French and Spanish.
