Investment and tourism promotion agency Cabo Verde Investimentos has approved a package of six new projects promoted by Cape Verdean and foreign interests with a total estimated worth of some 400 million euros. According to Cabo Verde Investimentos president Alexandre Fontes, despite the worldwide real-estate crisis, Cape Verde continues to attract investors from various parts of the world. Fontes explained that the investments in question will be made in the areas of tourism and industry, and added that all of them have a scheduled date to begin in the near future.
